Born in Queens, New York, Aileen Godat is a full time childcare provider in Taos, New Mexico. At age sixteen she recognized she was illiterate and taught herself to read and write.
By twenty-seven she became a Montessori preschool teacher and has since dedicated her life to the growth and nurture of children for the past thirty-three years.
